On August 16–17, 2025, Today’s Junior Golfer (TJG) hosted back-to-back equipment drives at Trilogy Power Ranch Golf Course and Longbow Golf Club, held alongside U.S. Kids local tournaments, to benefit lower-income junior golfers in need of gear.

Day 2 at Longbow. TJG Founder Barry Midthun with USKids Local Assistant Dan Schneider.
TJG founder Barry Midthun shared:
“Equipment drives are our bread and butter when it comes to helping kids get and stay in the game. They take time and effort to pull off, but in the end, the happy and excited faces of junior golfers receiving their gear are priceless!”
A special thank you goes out to USKids Phoenix Director, Dale Balvin, for his continued support of our mission to equip less fortunate junior golfers with the gear and hope they need to pursue the game of golf.

We’d also like to thank the many parents who “cleaned out” their garages and storage units to donate used clubs, bags, balls, hats, shorts, skirts, shoes, and all things golf.
It’s truly a team effort—and once again, the real winners are the kids!
